Healing Birth & Developmental Trauma
Re-patterning Developmental Trauma - embodiment of Infant Movement Patterns.
It is not often acknowledged that the splitting between mind and body happens quite early on in our development. This work brings focus to our experiences of the womb space and the perinatal experience.
Trauma often manifest in somatic symptoms: physical pain, chronic anxiety, muscles tension, physical armouring, constant state of hyper-vigilance, numbness/dissociation, toxic shame, and more.
If you have found that your "armouring" has been there for a long time, or if you are struggling to shift it with talking therapy, there is a high chance that this deeper, developmental work is needed.
When we work with perinatal and birth trauma, we often access the transpersonal realm. This process can evoke archetypal symbols, deep intuitions, and feelings such as bliss and joy, as well as the "commotion" of the deeper self as it moves toward integration.
This work is equally supportive for those navigating re-traumatization. Often, this occurs when there is insufficient support or containment following a cathartic or psychedelic experience, leaving the individual without a clear path toward integration.

The Origins of the Mind and Body Split :
“Since our deepest traumas are imbedded in our guts and muscles, to free ourselves we must free our bodies” (Kurtz and Prestera, 1976)
When traditional interventions often rely on narrative and our cognitive memory, we miss a very important aspect of healing, the body and our very earliest life experiences including our embryological development, where could be the root cause of the Mind-body fragmentation. Working somatically with the pre-verbal stages of your development will help address the layers of the protective armouring that were formed before language of words, the place where the only two languages were touch and movement.
This work involves revisiting earlier stages of our development and our birthing process, using bodywork, movement and breath, we embody the developmental process that support transforming and re-patterning what’s been disrupted or incomplete towards restoring inner power, resilience and integrative sense of self. This work is a very specialised deep work that results in re-patterning the Nervous System.
Therefore, there is a map that needs to be followed to provide structure, safety and the container for deepe work:
Resourcing and Stabilisation.
Clarify the origin of your armour/ developmental w/Wound or t/Trauma
A Return to the Womb Space as a place of cellular rest and a place of re-patterning.
Re-visit the birth experience or other developmental stages that hold the disruption/trauma: we work through the body and somatic processes to re-patterning and restore life force energy that was held and stuck, with that we restore the sense of agency, will and creative expression.
Safety, Titration and Integration are at the very core of this work.
When we work with perinatal and birth trauma, we often access the transpersonal realm. This process can evoke archetypal symbols, deep intuitions, and feelings such as bliss and joy, as well as the "commotion" of the deeper self as it moves toward integration.
With the one-on-one sessions, you start to develop deeper awareness to what is happening in the body at a cellular level. The goal is to uncover and reveal deep memories and stories and awaken deeper potentials within for healing that can shift the somatic effects of trauma. Living life from an intuitive place rather than from a survival place requires grounding ourselves in safety to feel what have been neglected and disrupted. Expect to find alignment, balance, and harmony within.
Who is this work for?
“If you’re an alive body, no one can tell you how to experience the world. And no one can tell you what the truth is, because you experience it for yourself”
You may find this work supportive if you experience:
Chronic Physical Armouring & Somatic Tension
Persistent Muscle Rigidity/Tension/Stiffness: A feeling of being "braced" or "on guard" without a clear current-day reason.
Structural Imbalance: Chronic issues with posture or gut that seem resistant to traditional physical therapy.
Difficulty Feeling Deep Rest: An inability to ever feel fully supported by the ground or a surface, as if your body is always hovering.
Digestive or Auto-Immune Symptoms of Dis-ease and Imbalance: Chronic gut issues accompanied by other autonomic nervous system dysfunctions that feels constantly over-stimulated.
Relational & Developmental Challenges
Difficulty with Bonding: Always struggling with intimate connections, bonding, touch, or simply feeling "close" to others and/or a persistent sense of not belonging.
The "Split" Experience: Feeling like a "walking head"—highly intellectual and cognitive but disconnected from your body from the neck down.
Boundary Confusion: Difficulty sensing where you end and another person begins, often rooted in early womb-space or birthing experiences.
Constantly Hyper- vigilant:
Re-traumatisation as a result of Lack enough support and Containment or lack of Integration following cathartic or psychedelic healing experiences.
Psychological & Emotional Stagnation
Ineffectiveness of Talk Therapy: You have a high level of self-awareness and can "explain" your trauma, but the physical sensations of it never change.
Pre-verbal Anxiety: Deep-seated feelings of dread, "freezing," or "terror" that have no specific memory or narrative attached to them.
Lack of Creative Vitality: Feeling "stuck" or "heavy," with a lack of access to the natural flow of play, intuition, or bliss.
